IІ Kiev International Film Festival - a week before the start

 May 18, 2010 at the Restaurant "Oasis" (Cinema Butterfly Ultramarine) held a press breakfast Second Kiev International Film Festival.

Bogdan Stupka - People's Artist of Ukraine, President KMKF;
Fedor short - General Producer KMKF;
Irina Gordeychuk - Chairman of the Selection Committee KMKF;
Irina Tokarchuk - actress, presented a picture of "Shoot now!", Ukraine (participant of the competition program KMKF-2010).
 
At a press luncheon festival organizing committee has shared details of the competition and non-competition program, called the guests and participants KMKF and also talked about other details of the Film Forum.
The main festival competition program will be 15 paintings. In addition 11 films have formed a special competitive program "Mirror", a favorite of which will determine the authoritative critics: Alec Shpilyuk (Ukraine), Stishova Elena (Russia), Sergei Rachlin (U.S.). Fedor Krat separately noted the fact that each of the competitive art can be seen not only the members of the jury, but the spectators as well as tickets will be available in free sale. Besides Ukrainian moviegoers waiting for a number of thematic programs: "Person", "Social Program / Ecology", "Sports Screen", "Women's Vision". They will appreciate the new Turkish, Argentine, Russian cinema, retrospectives of internationally recognized meters cinema, as well as Ukrainian prime minister.
Chairman of the selection committee KMKF, Irina Gordeychuk drew the audience's attention to the fact that the list of films of the festival reflects the actual picture of the global film industry. Thus, a number of countries, movies have long been appreciated and recognized all over the world, increasingly make themselves Balkan, Turkish, Argentine filmmakers. The strongest pattern "Whirlpool» («Duburys»), in which, incidentally, played two of our compatriot (young actress Oksana and Yevgeny Borbat Varenitsa), came from Lithuania. It must be noted "Ivanov, Vadim Dubrovyts'kyi. The picture at the Film Forum will feature the main characters - Alexei Serebryakov, Anna Dubrovskaya, Vladimir Ilyin, Bogdan and Ostap Stupka. Also, can not but rejoice in the presence of the competitive program of domestic films "shoot immediately" Vilen Novak. A newcomer to Second KMKF became involved in the competition program of non-fiction films.
 Jury major competitive program II of Kiev International Film Festival headed by legendary film director, winner of Cannes, Venice and Berlin film festivals, Otar Iosseliani. The company he will make the judiciary podium with Ukrainian filmmaker Vadim Perelman Roots (USA), an outstanding Russian actor Armen Djigarkhanyan, Ukrainian graphic artist, painter and art director Sergei Yakutovich, an internationally recognized documentary filmmaker and member of the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Marcel Lozinski (I'm flattered ); sign Hungarian film director, screenwriter and producer in March Messarosh, as well as the famous Turkish film director Aydin Cyman.

Kiev International Film Festival will be held for the second time from May 25 to June 1, 2010. KMKF to become the central film forums of world and national film premieres in Ukraine. The initiator and president of the festival is the People's Artist of Ukraine, an outstanding actor Bogdan Stupka.
