Vadim Perelman, a witty and charismatic orator, simply and easily, in American style, held the master class within the frames of the Second Kyiv international film festival. A successful young film director told the assembled audience a little about himself, the "House of Sand and Fog", and about the life and work in America.

After the meeting, the beginning cinematographers learned the golden truth by Vadim Perelman: "a good script - is 80% of the movie's success." And not only one: "a real director should necessarily be the author of the script, otherwise he turns into just a regular employee, as the illuminator, for example," when making the film one can not even think about the release, just make your best film possible. "

The audience gave the foreign guest specific questions, which the American director, smoking a cigarette, gave more than satisfying answers. In a light simple form of the master class the participants learned how to effectively use the cortical board, a pack of paper cards and a pair of colored markers.

As well as on the master class, Vadim Perelman is a host on the film set, the authority, who listens to the opinion of the actors. In the work with the actors he has his own technique, but this subject, according to the director, is for the next master-class.
